Front-End Website Tester
TravelShark Writer
This is a part time, remote position.
Position Summary:
Don't have the time to travel the globe? Here's your chance to work with a leading global travel startup and write about some of the most incredible desstinations in the world.
TravelShark is hiring new writers to create blog articles and travel guides for location-based sites around the world. TravelShark manages sites like LasVegasHotels.com and SingaporeHotels.com.sg.
This is a remote, part time job that can lead to a full-time position and is great experience for travel bloggers. Writers will perform internet research for each article, then submit electronically.
College students, recent graduates, and seasoned professional are all welcome.
What we need from each writer:
- 5-20 hours of availability each week
- Ability to hit deadlines consistently
- Impeccable writing skills
- An acumen for internet research that would make Sherlock Holmes jealous
- Ability to write concise, casual, and tastefully humorous copy
What each writer gets from TravelShark:
- Competitive compensation on a per article basis
- Training and experience as an SEO copywriter
- A job you can do without putting pants on or getting out of bed (although we recommend doing both for general hygiene and well-being)

Front-End Website Tester
This is a part-time position.
Position Summary:
Did you rock at “Spot the Differences” as a kid, sending letters to the artist because he missed some himself? And if “that’s wrong” or “I told you so” is a part of your daily vocabulary – but you’ve got many redeeming qualities (see below) – this role may be the right one for you.
The front-end tester will get an inside look at the product development process at a nimble, tech-savvy travel startup by 1) gaining a thorough understanding of the thinking and requirements that go into a product 2) testing the ins and outs of every product to ensure usability and 3) being involved in an agile environment.
Note: Redeeming qualities must include: working well in teams, eagerness to get down and dirty in requirements and code, and a coffee addiction.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly testing new products, features, and releases before and after launch
- Hunting down any bugs or errors
- Creating and implementing a regression testing plan
What we need:
- Attention to detail (you track everything in an excel doc and color code it)
- Ability to read and understand biz and tech requirements
- Flexibility and a go-with-the-flow attitude
- Internet savvy
- An elephant’s memory
- Up to 20 hrs a week
